Anoop Kahlon is an associate attorney primarily focusing his practice on employment law, as well as transactional, corporate, and compliance matters representing health care professionals and institutions. Anoop Kahlon graduated with honors from the University of Guelph in Canada in 2017 where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Science. In 2021, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Anoop had a diverse focus on his studies in law school with courses focusing on Employment Law, Corporate Law, Sports Law, Commercial Transactions, and Intellectual Property Law. While in law school, he served on the Executive Committees of the South Asian Law Students Association and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, along with serving as a tutor for Federal Civil Procedure and Property Law.

Prior to joining Feldman Kieffer, Anoop interned with a mid-size employment law firm in Washington, D.C. where he gained litigation experience working on cases involving discrimination, harassment, ERISA, fraud, and whistleblowers. He also interned with a legal aid society handling landlord-tenant matters and worked in a corporate and real estate law firm in Canada.

Anoop is experienced in general insurance defense litigation, including motor vehicle, labor law, products liability, slip and fall, and insurance coverage litigation. However, Anoop has concentrated his practice on the defense of employment discrimination and harassment cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, and state courts. In addition, he has extensive experience in assisting clients in the defense of medical audits, as well as with the formation and governance of corporate entities, contract preparation and negotiation, and construction of employment policies compliant with State and Federal Law. He also has experience handling matters before state administrative offices, such as the New York State Education Department’s Office of Professional Discipline.

Anoop is admitted to practice in New York and is fluent in multiple languages including Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi. Outside of law, Anoop is an avid sports fan and loves to travel.
