Christopher E. Wilkins graduated in 1980 from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. He is a 1986 graduate of Louisiana State University Law School, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence.

Mr. Wilkins has practiced before Louisiana State and Appellate Courts, United States District Court, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is admitted in New York State and Appellate Courts, United States District Court, Western and Northern Districts of New York, Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of New York.

Mr. Wilkins has practiced in the area of civil defense litigation for over 30 years. He practices in the areas of complex premises liability, construction law, products liability, pharmacy law, professional liability, and automobile accident litigation, having taken jury verdicts in each of those categories, many with exposures that exceed $1,000,000.00. He also has experience in Admiralty, Longshoreman and Harbor Workers’ proceedings, Workers’ Compensation law, oil and gas law, toxic tort, asbestos and lead paint litigation. Mr. Wilkins has extensive appellate experience, including appearances before the Louisiana Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Wilkins frequently serves as assigned counsel through the Erie County Bar Association Aid to Indigent Prisoners’ Society. He has volunteered as an assistant to Jessup International Law Court Competition teams. He is active with Roswell Park Cancer Center, having been a member of the Roswell Park Alliance Board, and has served as a past co-chair of the Ride for Roswell and Herd About Buffalo campaign.
