Jane A. Kent graduated summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo in June 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is currently finishing her final year of law school at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
Jane is a member of UB’s Trial Team and has participated in four national trial competitions. In 2023, Jane was awarded the Gerard J. O’Brien Scholarship for her excellence in trial advocacy. Additionally, she has provided legal services to startups and local entrepreneurs through her work with the Entrepreneurship Law Center Clinic. Jane has previously worked as a law clerk at a local firm, where she worked alongside experienced attorneys, learning about various legal topics. Prior to beginning her legal career, Jane worked at a local clothing store, Blush Boutique. As a result of this job, she loves to shop for new clothes and putting together fun outfits. In her free time, Jane enjoys taking indoor cycling classes with her friends and meeting with her book club. However, this is not your average book club as every meeting has an elaborate theme so that the food and drinks correspond with that month’s book.
