Mackenzie Vergason graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Law in May 2024 and passed the New York Bar Exam in July 2024. She has accepted an associate attorney position with Feldman Kieffer and will be practicing upon her admission in June 2025.
Mackenzie has focused her legal studies on a wide breadth of topics, including Fair Housing, Employment Discrimination, Zoning and Land Use, Antitrust, Constitutional Law, Civil Rights and Appellate Law.

Mackenzie graduated cum laude with distinction from SUNY Buffalo in 2020 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Political Science and International Trade. Before joining Feldman Kieffer, Mackenzie worked with a boutique local firm on complex federal employment discrimination cases. During law school, Mackenzie worked as a student attorney with UB’s Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic, successfully representing a local fair housing agency in their appeal of an unfavorable decision in a housing discrimination claim. She also interned at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo in the Post Convictions and Appeals Unit and was a law clerk at the National Fair Housing Alliance in Washington, DC.

In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys podcasts, learning, travelling, and spending time with her pets, Lola and Duck.
