Matthew Duke is a third-year law student at the University at Buffalo School of Law. Matthew has focused his legal studies on a wide breadth of topics, including Sports Law, Contract Law and Negotiations, and Labor Law. He has served as the President of the Buffalo Sports and Entertainment Law Society at UB Law School. Matthew graduated from Canisius College in 2021 with majors in Political Science and Urban Studies. He completed minors in Ignatian Studies and Women & Gender Studies. Before joining Feldman Kieffer, Matthew supported the in-house counsel of FIFCO USA in Buffalo, NY by conducting research and providing guidance to ensure compliance with state and federal alcohol laws wherever products were sold. Additionally, Matthew interned at the Western New York Law Center, where he provided legal assistance to those who were facing consumer debt issues, evictions, or foreclosures.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading, drawing, and playing leisure sports, like kickball, golf, and bowling. Matthew loves Buffalo sports, and in the summer, he can often be found at Sahlen Field, cheering on the Buffalo Bisons.
